About Grammyandme
- Nancy Holden, founder of “Dance With Nance” began her ‘mobile’ dance company in 1983 bringing dance to children at Preschools, Elementary Schools, Recreation Centers, YMCAs, and Boys and Girls Clubs.
- Branching her business from Missouri, Colorado, Florida, and California, Dance with Nance has taught dance & music in 200 schools with 2000 students nationwide. With a staff of 20 teachers throughout her 30 years of service, the vision of having young children meet friends at school, learn the creative arts in a safe environment and share their love of dance and music during parent review days, was a dream and a blessing for our staff to witness every day.
- School teachers began sharing with us that their students who attended our classes were flourishing in their social and emotional learning through the creative arts, so we created "Grammy and ME SEL" which is an online learning curriculum providing students, teachers, districts and homeschool parents with videos, lesson plans, musicals and teacher training to help their students develop their SEL skills. Scripture verses taught, through song, include sharing the fruits of the Spirit to help children understand virtues, values, characteristics and behaviors that support their emotional growth.
- Miss Nancy has written 2 Children's Sing-along picture and activity book entitled Grammy and ME! (Gifts Inside of ME!) and If Everyone was Kind to ME, which is available on Amazon with links to sing, dance and fun activities for your students.
